Everyone remember the Season 5 premiere of Mad Men “not only did the show see a record high of 3.5 million viewers, but Megan (Jessica Pare) became the new Mrs. Draper and made her mark on the employees of Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce. After throwing Don a surprise party for his 40th birthday, Megan performed a rendition of the catchy French tune “Zou Bisou Bisou,” originally recorded by Gillian Hill in 1961”. About Floanne:
Born and raised in a French farm, Floanne is a performer living in New York City. Her training in dance, voice, theater, film/TV and improvisation make her able to portray a wide range of characters. Graduated from the Merce Cunningham Studio in modern dance, and in long-form improvisation from the Upright Citizens’ Brigade, she is a unique triple threat performer.
Floanne has performed at venues such as the Public Theatre and the Guggenheim Museum, and with theater directors David Glenn Armstrong and Alice Jankell. She acted opposite Helen Hunt, Tuc Watckins, and for directors Jim Jarmusch and Johnathan Demme. She has recorded numerous commercial voice-overs for international usage. Floanne’s vocal repertoire includes French classics, opera arias and her own songs.
She performed at the Metropolitan Room, The Triad and on NPR her critically acclaimed cabaret Floin’ to America, in which she has been compared to the likes of Edith Piaf and Madonna. She is currently performing Love is French and Edith Piaf Alive and Living in New York.
