Learn French in a fun way with a talented international acting company! 2 intensive weeks (9 hours) for adults and 3 different levels: absolute beginner, advanced beginner and intermediate.
Classes are offered Mon to Wednesday evening and they includes 2 optional group cultural outings to a French film, meetup, restaurant or French-language play.
This voucher is valid until Dec 31st. Into this City School offers 2 intensive weeks French through acting each month (except August) from Mon to Wednesday evenings.
July schedule:
- Absolute beginner: Mon-Wednesday evenings July 2-11, 8-9:30pm. No class July 4 (class on Thursday, July 5) or July 16-25, 8-9:30pm
- Absolute beginner: Mon-Wednesday evenings July 16-25, 8-9:30pm
- Advanced beginner: Mon-Wednesday evenings July 2-11, 6-30-8pm, last class 8-9:30pm No class July 4 (class on Thursday, July 5)
- Intermediate: Mon-Wednesday evenings July 16-25, 6:30-8pm, last class 8-9:30
Into This City is a NYC-based acting and foreign language school at the center of a vibrant community of international theater artists and thespians. The Act French language classes (taught by highly talented international acting company) use interactive theater games to teach students to communicate fluently in French. In acting classes in French, ITC starts with the individual and the text, with today’s language (its oral, energetic and physical forms) and explore and test its capacities. By looking outside our physical, personal and political borders, through the challenge and inspiration of collaborative ensemble work, by probing the rich, vibrant voices of today’s theatre, actors expand their consciousness and are able to develop powerful, resonant theatre that challenges conventional cultural constructions of art and society.
ITC offers acting students from the United States and around the world the opportunity to study texts by living playwrights in their native tongue or in translation.
