Step into New York’s only Black Gallery Space for a sophisticated evening featuring a tasting of rare and nuanced Japanese Whiskies, accompanied by the Neo-Soul and Jazz fusion of performer Ella Kromah.
The style of Japanese Whiskey is generally more like Scotch Whiskey than Irish Whiskey. Until recently, Japanese Whiskey consumption was almost entirely based in Japan, but a series of blind tastings revealed Japanese Whiskey to rival and in many cases exceed their Scotch counterparts, putting these rare and unusual whiskies on the international map.
Several top examples of these unique whiskies, from different Japanese distilleries, will be presented.
A tasting of rare hams from Europe has also been arranged to compliment the whiskey, and an exhibition of photography will be on display for viewing.
About the exhibition: “Seeing Ourselves” is a unique exhibit in which world class art will be combined with cutting edge science to leave viewers inspired by the beauty and capabilities of the human brain.
